This resort is located in a beautiful, open area close to the lake. the surroundings are very peaceful with nice nature and the frozen lake adds to the scenic views. the rooms are basic but have everything necessary for a comfortable stay. the staff provides good service and the massage showers in the pool area are great facilities to use.

Some areas could use an update as some of the decor is outdated.

Hotel is not good for this money. The breakfast was very poor. room was not clean, there was no russian channel at tv. it costs like Hilton, but it's realy not.

All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

The old log cabin Jätkänkämppä was an excellent facility for a small conference. The food was excellent. Also the opposite sauna (savusauna) with the possibility of dip in the lake was excellent.

The actual hotel is quite ordinary and some ways from the city of Kuopio.

It's quiet and nice to stay there. Catering is very good. SPA services are also good enough.

Room cleaning is poor. Cleaning ladies do not clean the room properly and do not refill the consumables like liquid soap etc. Such situation is a little bit frustrating, because in general the hotel is worth the money we pay for it.
